A few months ago, Mr. Carroll purchased land in Basalt, CO, providing the perfect backdrop for his daughter’s wedding. Ryan & Brooke “owned” that parcel of Rocky Mountains on this particular weekend in July. There we stood at the base of Mount Sopris in the warm and humid air. This weather would have had me annoyed in Minnesota; but here in Colorado, it was breathtaking…as was the entire time I spent with Ryan & Brooke.
Ryan & Brooke’s love story could not be more compelling. Macho, athletic and endearing Ryan was sitting at a Starbucks working on a bankruptcy appeal in Dallas when beautiful, quiet and lovely Brooke caught his eye. And by caught his eye, I mean stopped his heart. From that moment, Ryan vowed he would talk to Brooke and did. Fast forward 18 months and here we are – in Snowmass, Colorado sharing this moment with some of the most genuine and awe-inspiring people I’ve ever known. Ryan & Brooke possess a heart and passion for each other that is unsurpassed. I have no doubt that as they walked throughout this day, they thoughtfully considered each moment. It is with great joy that I am able to present these moments to you both. I am so glad to have met you. Thank you for inviting me on this adventure.
