Well, golly. These two are as adorable and as genuine as they come.

Jake has a rare gift for making you feel like you are the only person on the planet when he talks with you, and that gift is overflowing for his now bride, Ellyn. Jake knew exactly what today would be all about, and to say he was prepared was an understatement.

A few dark clouds rolled overhead as we pulled up to Primp in Fergus Falls. As soon as I walked in the door, I fell instantly in love with the whole family. We were welcomed with the warmest hearts. Little sister, Brita, and mother, Becky, glowed with excitement as Ellyn prepared for the day.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and boy, did a village ever show up. As the ceremony grew near, the seats grew sparse. Until finally, they were packed full. But that didn’t stop people from coming! Overflow seating was quickly arranged for all to watch Jake and Ellyn’s promises to each other.

The day raced on as we all celebrated in the back yard. The dark clouds had retreated by now and the backdrop was a beautiful cornfield facing west, a videographer’s dream come true. We took advantage of the sunset, knocked down half a cornfield by traipsing through the rows and played a little longer until the sun was finally tucked away. Wow. Thank you for making us feel like family and sharing this part of your life with us.
