If you’re asked to travel to Italy and capture a wedding on a mountaintop overlooking the Mediterranean with your photographer BFF, you always, always say yes.
Every wedding has it’s own signature style and personal touch, manifesting in hundreds of individual colors, details, gifts and meals. As if that wasn’t daunting enough, Michael and Lindsay planned theirs from the other side of the world! High atop a hillside on the Amalfi coast, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the tiny town of Ravello sits. With streets that are too small for cars, you’ll have to walk…not that that’s a problem; just a short walk across the town square and you’ve gone from one amazing view of the sea to another.
Whatever comes to mind when you think of “Italy”, Michael & Lindsay’s wedding covered it. Tasty gelato, fragrant lemon groves, woodfire pizza, powerful espresso, luscious gardens, amazing wine…I could go on forever! Michael and Lindsay’s love for the old-world feel and culture of Italy shone through even the smallest of details. Just moments after being pronounced husband and wife, an authentic Neapolitan band duo led them through the streets of Ravello, right into the town square.
As the sun set over the water and the seemingly miniature towns below lit up, Michael and Lindsay embraced for their first dance, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

The love that you two have for each other puts a smile on the faces of everyone around you. From the first time we met you in Minnesota, that was unmistakable. Then on top of a mountain, you made it official!
