This was truly a glorious day. Jon is one of those special people in life that you meet who will, without hesitation, shower you with his huge heart. Katie is one of those people you meet in life and then fall instantly in love with her personality. Put those two together and what do you get? A wonderful day that still has me smiling.
We started downtown Minneapolis at her parents’ loft. Friend after friend filled that home and all eyes and attention were on Katie. Jon is captivated by Katie’s beauty, and rightfully so! With makeup gently applied and the hair carefully set, Katie beamed. Jon couldn’t help but pace with the anticipation of seeing his bride. As we arrived at the Little Log House in Hastings, the anticipation heightened! It was almost unbearable. And then it happened. Jon met Katie in her gorgeous dress and he fell head over heels…again. Jim, Katie’s dad, squeezed his little girl one last time and offered her hand to a glowing Jon. With some of the most creative and endearing vows, the two became one. It was stunning. The party continued well into the night. What a day. Thank you for your warmth and care.
