Our moms are BFFs and so for the last 20 years, I have gotten to know Linda really well. Hearing bits and pieces from my mom about Linda with a new boyfriend and then eventually learning Linda was engaged, there was just no way I was going to miss out on this part of the story – and I am glad I didn’t.Jon & Linda care very deeply about their families and it showed in every detail on that windy day atop the hill of Silverwood Park.

Each wedding we film, we take note on what the couple value. For Jon & Linda, this meant a casual atmosphere with an intentional ceremony. Once the ceremony ended, yard games (the giant Jenga being my favorite) replaced the chairs, an outdoor fireplace melted the s’mores and Jon and Linda’s favorite beverages flowed freely among the guests.Linda, at times as we were growing up, I probably acted like the little brother you are glad you didn’t have, but thank you for asking me to showcase your love story. It was an honor to have shared these moments with you.
