We REALLY like these two! Kim and her sisters are, well let’s just say, boisterous… but in the best way possible. There was no shortage of laughing today. Early rain showers and mist tried to dampen the mood but no one succumbed. The morning was relaxed as both Jake & Kim got ready to celebrate their day with friends and family. Jake is as sincere as they come. Knowing he is typically quiet I was quite excited to see him glow today, and he did not disappoint! As we headed over to Mississippi Dunes, the sun was trying desperately to peek out from behind the clouds. Kim was crossing her fingers as she willed the sun to shine.
Finally, right before the ceremony started, on the shores of Mississippi River, it did. An otherwise gloomy day made a 180 and became a gorgeous fall afternoon. Jake wholeheartedly promised his love to his bride. Kim had been waiting for this moment and I knew she had replayed it in her mind over and over. By the look on her face, it happened just how she imagined. I was inspired, and as Kim and her sisters cried with joy, I may have held back tears also :) Thank you, Jake & Kim, for inviting along this journey. We had a great time.
